Why Does Owen Hunt Hate Nathan Riggs On Grey's Anatomy?

Spoiler Alert: The following post may contain spoilers from unseen Grey’s Anatomy episodes. If you don’t want to know, then I suggest you proceed with caution.

Well, gidday Grey’s fans! It’s been awhile since my last post. Life has really gotten in the way and I have been very slack in updating this blog. So I apologise for that and I promise that until the Season finale of Grey’s Anatomy, I am going to do my best to keep this site up to date with regular and entertaining posts.

According to Wetpaint in their article dated February 4th, 2016 we are not going to find out the back story on Owen Hunt and Nathan Riggs for a few episodes yet. All we do know is that Owen has or had a sister. Wetpaint have since confirmed that this mysterious sister is also Nathan’s sister.

Well; the mind boggles with what the story here could be. In the next few episodes, we will see Meredith struggle with the aftermath of her attack and it has also been reported that we will see Jackson and April go to marriage counselling, which I feel it utterly stupid, they should just work out their differences, but that's for another post. 

According to Wetpaint; Kevin McKidd who plays Dr Owen Hunt, told TV Line that we will not get the full story about what happened between Owen and Nathan until about episode 14, which is due to air on March 10, 2016 and that date being firm will depend on whether the ABC network choose to show new episodes from now until that date.

So; I guess we fans will just have to be patient. When I think about it though, it is only about two to three weeks away, as today is the 20th of February.

In other news, there has been a lot of talk as to who will be Meredith’s new leading man. I was really hoping Shonda would not go there for a while, as I would not be comfortable seeing Meredith with anyone but Derek, but I guess she has to move on eventually. In Grey’s time, I think that Derek has been gone for about eighteen months now, but that’s still too soon when you consider the love story between Derek and Meredith.

It has been speculated that Meredith could move on with either Nathan or Alex. I hate the idea of Alex and Mer together, they are best friends, and are not meant to be together as a couple. As for Nathan, I guess he's a good possibility, but as I said before it is too soon and I cannot see Meredith doing something like that to Owen.

Re-post of My Opinion On Derek Shepherd's Death

My Verdict On Derek Shepherds Death On Grey's Anatomy

Yep, well I just watched the episode again and I am about to watch the final three episodes for this season. I also have read a couple of reviews, one from my favourite Grey's Anatomy writer at Spoiler TV. Her suspicions match a little with mine, that I believe the episode was a great big Eff You from Shonda Rhimes to Patrick Dempsey who plays the part of Derek Shepherd. Patrick Dempsey is a well-known and popular actor, excellent at his craft and loved by many fans.

I will concede that the first part of the aftermath of Derek Shepherd's death was done well, there was a funeral that we saw 15 seconds and we were told Cristina Yang did attend, this is enough for me, it might not be so for other fans, however if Cristina had been ignored and not given a mention, I would have been pissed. I felt that the short moments of grief we saw were well done. And the credit goes to Stacy McKee who should have written "How To Save A Life" Shonda Rhimes; what were you thinking? You just cannot help but to inject your personal issues into certain story-lines. I hazard a guess that you force your writers to do this too, because this would not be the first time.

Okay, I will get off this topic and move right along to what the fans have said and Maxine who reviews Grey's Anatomy at Spoiler TV, I cannot provide a link here as it it against the rules, however if you are a die hard fan of Grey's, you will know where to find Spoiler TV.

I don't think it would have mattered whether Derek died at GSM or the useless hospital where he was treated by equally useless doctors who were not trained in trauma or even set up for it. But, I hated the fact that he narrated his own death and I actually do not believe he would have even been in once piece. That truck hit Derek directly on the driver's side of the car. The fact that he reached for his phone while in the middle of the road, doing a U turn pissed me off and I knew before the truck hit him that going for the phone was a mistake and what killed him. Also, what happened to there being no phone reception where he was?

Some of the above, I have drawn my own conclusions, however Maxine has opened my eyes to the fact that Rhimes, while it was sheer genius on her part when she created Grey's and kept it going 11 years with the show still dominating the demo ratings on a Thursday night, she cannot seem to keep her personal crap out of the script. Shonda; put down the god damned crack pipe and write like a writer would who loves their characters. Did Patrick Dempsey really get a good send off in episode 21. I don't believe so, and I would have also expected Meredith to at least call his family or at the very least; Amelia.

As for the funeral, we did not see his family there, so I guess we just need to assume that they were in fact there. I will never believe that they were not on the first plane when they got the news. Meredith should have been there at the hospital long before the mistakes were made, at least she would have had a chance to see her husband before he ended up brain dead. Could it be that Shonda does not like the character of Meredith Grey. It seems in Shonda's world that a woman cannot have it all. A happy family, kids, career and whatever else without tragedy after tragedy happening. Many fans are pissed about this and feel this is Shonda's attitude.

Please do not misunderstand me; I am fully aware that Patrick Dempsey wanted out of Grey's, he has wanted to leave for years and killing him off was the only scenario that makes sense. Meredith and Derek were endgame and would never have divorced. Shonda has probably lost the ratings of most of the MerDer Shippers and the McDreamy fans and will need to rebuild to get the show back on it's feet and still dominating the demo ratings.....she has a hell of a task ahead and this would have been the case, no matter how she chose to exit McDreamy. I have my doubts that Grey's will go on any longer than one more season. Who knows, maybe she will put some magic out of her butt and this show will be great for years to come. As Maxine said, "Grey's is still a relevant show." 

I love the show, and hope it is around for ten years time, providing the writing is good. Maxine was spot on when she said that Season 11's writing has been excellent. Even the crappy filler episodes like the penis story line and Bailey and Ben's story with Ben's brother were entertaining because of the excellent writing. No sooner does Ms Rhimes pick up a pen and it goes to crap. Sorry Shonda, but it is true.

I have watched the first part of "She's Leaving Home" and I am starting to think that some of Shonda's sins can be forgiven, this episode was excellent, one of the best and I don't think I can watch it for awhile or I will end up in tears again and in saying that; Stacey McKee penned this episode, so I had high hopes that it would not go to crap and honestly I do have to praise them for the final two episodes of the season, they were excellent too.

Stay tuned for my next TV Show Rant. Oh and before I forget, goodbye McDreamy and I truly am sorry for all of the MerDer shippers. You guys must be livid with anger.

Grey's Anatomy Bend And Break - Season 11-5

Review of Bend and Break, Grey's' Anatomy Season 11 Episode 5 - Written by Brouhaha - PipMaxine


I feel free. Do you feel free? I feel free. Honestly I do. I breathe a little easier now, knowing that Callie and Arizona have finally put us all out of our misery and ended the torture their relationship has been to the viewers. Okay, that’s a little dramatic but let’s face it, watching them recently has not been pretty or comfortable. Don’t get me wrong; over the years I’ve enjoyed watching them and rooting for them to prevail as a couple against the odds. But now, this, this feels right; sad, needed, but right. 

Whenever I sit down to write a review I always re-watch the episode. Sometimes, though not this season, that is painfully hard to do (flashbacks to “All About Men” in season eight). At other times, like last week, I spend the time absorbed in the episode again rather than writing, because it was so good. This week I sat down with a heavy heart. That is until the very first line. It was only during this second viewing of Bend and Break I noticed that Arizona gave away the ending in her very first words. She’s such a spoiler. In describing the components of the ‘triad of death’ Dr Robbins effectively nailed the coffin on her marriage before the episode had even got going... 

Uncontrollable bleeding, acidosis, cold, the triad of death - the point of no return. She was not describing fixing a broken leg, or even the difficult decision to amputate one. She was describing trying to save what little life is left at the point where it is almost hopeless. It was never going to be a happy ending and I’m vaguely annoyed with myself that I didn’t see that big fat clue from the opening narrative. 

Season eleven of Grey’s Anatomy, so far, seems to be the season of specials. Perhaps post Sandra Oh the writers decided to throw the rulebook away and redesign the show. Perhaps they were feeling nostalgic and wanted the editors to do a bit more work by having them go back and paste past clips? Whatever the reason we were treated to a third concentrated episode, delving deeper into one particular relationship to set up a very different kind of reality for these characters for the majority of the season. It’s working too. Bend and Break, while not as good as last week’s epic season buster Meredith centric feast (..and breathe), was a watchable feature that allowed us to look past the superficial and create some closure on a number of unanswered questions. 

I did not enjoy the episode, but then I was not supposed to. It was very good, the writing was truly compelling and honest, it was beautiful drama, but it was not pleasant. The outcome was welcome, though the journey painful, for the characters and the viewers. But maybe that was the point? Maybe the writers meant to make viewing awkward and itchy, not only this week but for the last few? Maybe this was a metaphor for their marriage and the story they were telling?

The marriage I refer to of course is Callie and Arizona’s. In 11.05 we finally got to see behind the closed doors of this struggling relationship and what we found was a car crash. Breaking up this couple after all the difficulty of the past few years was the kindest thing Shonda could do; kindness to the season, to the viewer, to the actors. It now gives us the opportunity to get to know both of these characters as individuals again rather than as a couple. It will make them both more interesting and watchable. It may even make them fun again and in the end it may bring them back together as a couple. 

Very quickly into the episode we were introduced to the couple’s therapy sessions and finally some dissection of the issues plaguing their relationship. Both women were irritating throughout and at times intolerable. Callie with her emotional whining self-absorption, Arizona with her self-interested clinical detachment. We saw the worst versions of them and this was deliberate. They were lost, to themselves and in themselves. Through their very different experiences of separation they emerge from the silos, one needy the other free. Arizona’s discovery is that she ‘needs’ Callie but we already knew this. This was her breakthrough in season nine. For her this separation was merely an affirmation of that and through her epic failure at work having the break consolidated that need, but she said nothing about her marriage or imagining life from Callie’s point of view. This is what motivates Callie’s epiphany. The effort of ‘fixing’ is tearing her down. The more Callie heard from Arizona the more she realized that happiness starts with self-love and it is absent. The freedom she felt was the separation from Arizona’s need. It wasn’t from Arizona, for it was clear throughout this episode that these two love each other hard. With grace and love and a commitment to shared parenting Callie tore them apart, for the good of them both. When it came it made complete sense. The only surprise perhaps was that Callie and not Arizona delivered the fatal line. Did you see that coming?

The writing was not wholly satisfactory though. While it is wonderful that Callie laughed during her 30 days and did lots of stuff, those in themselves should be benefits to a marriage not drawbacks. Relationships thrive when we get to have our own separate interests and passions away from couple-dom. This is what worked about Callie’s relationship with Mark. Yes it was problematic because of the parenting storyline, but over all she had her social release, her friendships away from her wife. And did she really do that much in the 30 days? I’ve seen Callie be much more hardcore and bad ass before, even within the marriage. Part of this was functional character linking. Bringing Meredith and Callie together as social partners opens up a new (or renewed from season nine) relationship avenue for the writers to exploit. Which brings me to the second unsatisfactory point – where was Bailey? Callie tells Meredith she has no one to talk to. Really? What happened to Bailey? Saying that, I would not take away from this new tequila twosome at all. Their vagina duologue track was possibly the very best scene to come out of the writer’s room in a very long time. I’m excited to see more of Meredith and Callie together. 

Though the marriage may be over I remain of the view that this is an end game couple. Subject to the actors’ own plans and decisions I can see Shondaland taking Callie and Arizona on a long journey to self-love circling back to each other. They may entangle themselves with others, they may even self destruct first but until shown otherwise the writers will eventually keep the faith. 
The love, the passion, remains. Though it’s worth remembering that this is Grey’s Anatomy so this is to be expected - Mark/Lexie, Cristina/Owen, Cristina/Burke, Alex/Izzie. The big relationships rarely fail in Grey’s because people just don’t love each other anymore. 

Bend and Break did not break me. It energized me to see what the writers have in store for these two. I came away both relieved and excited, ready for the fall out and new adventures.

Meredith’s musings on Cristina as her true love and the glue in her relationship with Derek – very attuned piece of self awareness almost drowned out by tequila and vaginas.
So tell me...did an iceberg hit your ship? 

EDIT: Oh my. I forgot one of my key closing points. 
Callie beware. Callie beware. The choice you made may come around to bite you. The fall out of this will be a very angry Arizona. Callie has made this decision and we know that one of Arizona's real issues is that in her eyes Callie makes the decisions for her:
"I regret that you made a decision for me. You make all the choices and every time that I try to make a decision for myself its like you make me feel like I'm the most selfish person in the world."

Shonda Rhimes Finally Opens Up About Grey's Anatomy Season 10

Well Grey's Fans, it's about time. An interview from the Hollywood Reporter was posted while I was sleeping over here in Australia and Shonda Rhimes has given the fans plenty of reason to tune in on the 26 Sept; well I believe so anyway. 

Shonda Rhimes has also talked about the upcoming 200th episode. Parts of this interview are below:

When Grey's Anatomy returns for its 10th season in September, the ABC medical drama will be inching toward what showrunner Shonda Rhimes described as a "momentous" 200th episode.

While that milestone may serve as a reminder that the clock on the show's shelf life may be winding down, the prolific producer doesn't see the network's No. 1 drama wrapping up any time soon. Instead, Rhimes tells THR that her third-year drama Scandal -- a breakout hit in its Twitter-fueled sophomore season -- has helped reinvigorate the ensemble drama starring Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo and Sandra Oh.

The Hollywood Reporter catches up with Rhimes at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour to discuss Grey's Anatomy's future, her approach to the season 10's split run, the 200th episode and whether she'd ever consider featuring a lesbian divorce story. 

The Hollywood Reporter: ABC's Paul Lee said he'd like to see Grey's continue for as long as you'd like it to. How long would you like it to run?

Shonda Rhimes: I would like to continue Grey's for as long as I continue to have some story that I can come up with to tell. I feel like when it's time to step away and be done is when somebody else has taken over and I can't do this anymore. That's the time to step away. I don't want everyone to say, "It was great until …" or "I loved it until and it doesn't feel the same." To me, it's letting the characters evolve and telling really interesting stories.

THR: How has Scandal helped reinvigorate Grey's?

Rhimes: I don't know that one thing influences the other, in a weird way. What's nice is that they're such different worlds. With Private Practice, which I loved writing, the first couple seasons were hard because I felt like I was in the same world, and it was about figuring out how to make it a different world. Scandal is such a different world that it doesn't have anything to do with Grey's. I liken it to this: I have a 10-year-old and almost 2-year-old child at home. At work, I have a 10-year-old and a just 2-year-old. You get to do things differently with the younger child, and you get reinvigorated because you need to exercise a completely different muscle, and that makes you stronger. But it's not about one being better than the other or being helpful. It's about getting a whole new experience.

THR: Both Grey's and Scandal are doing split-run seasons. How are you approaching both runs differently because of the format?

Rhimes: I'm not approaching them differently. Last year, I asked for us to have a split-run. I really wanted us to have a split run. For Grey's, we literally said, "We're going to split the season into two" last year and we're going to pretend we have season 9A and season 9B, and we're not going to think of 9B until we're done with 9A, which is how you do a whole season anyway. For Scandal, we did the same thing. We did 13 episodes and then we're going to figure out the back nine. This year, what's nice is that we know that that can also happen, and it's going to happen consecutively, without reruns which is very exciting. We're going to do the first 10 of Scandal and then the back 12 of Scandal. We're going to do 12 and 12 with Grey's, and it's going to be great to tell a story the way it makes sense to tell a story.

THR: Will both the mid season finale and the actual season finale have the same intensity that they did on both shows last year?

Rhimes: Absolutely. With Grey's, up until last season, we were always saying let's work to the 24th episode. But with Scandal, we said we were going to work toward the 13th episode and figure the rest of it out. This season, I've only pitched to episode 10 [of Scandal] and we're going to figure the rest out when we get there.

THR: For Grey's Anatomy, do you have the end of 12 and 24 in mind?

Rhimes: I know the end of 12; 24 I don't know, and that provides me with a lot more relief and security. When we were doing season eight and I didn't know it was going to end -- I didn't know who was going to stay and who was going to go -- it was really difficult to plan all those episodes. Now I plan to episode 12 and we have a [midseason] finale, and then we're going to figure out the end of the season. It's a lot better.

THR: The 200th episode is coming up early in season 10. Are you going big for the episode?

Rhimes: I don't know how many shows have gotten to 200 episodes; it's really rare. When we did the 100th, I thought it had to be super special. One of the things I want to do in our 200th is show how our interns have grown up; 200 episodes later, they're all bad ass surgeons, which is really huge. It's also just about remembering how great everybody is. I like to have people in black-tie, because that's always nice. We have a story that we're telling that I feel really good about. I feel excited about it. It feels momentous for us.

THR: Callie (Sara Ramirez) has now been cheated on a second time. How will her response be different this time than it was with George (T.R. Knight)?

Rhimes: It's not necessarily how it's different but how this time is influenced by the fact that she's been cheated on before by a spouse. That's the big deal. It's one thing to be cheated on by a spouse once, it's another thing to have it happen a second time. How does the first time affect you? We're going to get to see a very interesting journey for both women. I'm excited about it. I feel like one of two things will happen: They'll end up getting back together and we'll see this journey and watch them fight through it, or they won't and we'll get to see what happens when there's more than one major lesbian relationship on a big television show.

Grey’s Anatomy Post-Mortem – Dissecting Season 9

Was Shonda’s Season of Romance Seriously Good Or Did It Suck?

Well I have mostly positive thoughts about Grey’s this season; which surprises me because earlier on when all the stories were centered on the law suit and the plane crash victims buying the hospital, Shonda and her writers had begun to lose me. For the first time ever in the nine years that I have been addicted to Grey’s Anatomy; I actually missed two or three episodes and took my sweet time in catching up. And the thing is; I’m not the only one.

Ratings Were Not As Strong As Last Year

Ratings were down this year; especially for the finale; which is a little worrying. While last years finale certainly had more hype surrounding it and promotion; I still feel that ratings should have been better as there were so many reasons why ratings should have been higher for this season’s finale. It’s pretty clear that some Mark and Lexie shippers and the individual fans of both these characters have ditched the show given the tragic way in which Mark and Lexie were written out last year. So attracting new viewers or even the old fans back is going to be difficult for the network now given the show is nine years old. The numbers are not terrible, just going down steadily. Grey’s Anatomy averaged a 4.1 in the demographic ratings which makes the show as the highest rating drama in the 18-49 demo this year. 

While Season 9 revolved mostly around the recovery of the plane crash victims and their loved ones; it was also a season of changes for just about every character. The only part of the season that became tedious for me was the legal stuff, the sale of the hospital and Alex and Jo (which I will discuss later on in this post). A lot of my dislike with those stories was that they weren’t convincing and this is probably because there were so many other ways that these arcs could have been played out.

Anyway let’s talk about the characters’ and their story arcs for this season.

Meredith and Derek

I think most fans will agree that we have to start with Meredith and Derek. Their stories began pretty much as predicted last year. Meredith was holding it all inside and trying to support everyone else, which is what she does. Things came to a head for her in episode five, where she finally broke and took a moment to let it sink in that she had lost her sister. Not long after this there is happy news about the pregnancy, and I could not have asked for a better outcome for these two.

Happy MerDer 

Derek’s sister came into town to donate a nerve for Derek’s hand surgery and he stubbornly refused the surgery at first. It was his sister who finally convinced him that he needed the surgery. When they found out the Meredith had the Alzheimer’s gene, it came as no surprise. The birth of ‘fetus’ who was later named “Bailey” was wonderful, but the drama of possibly losing Meredith was way overdone. We all knew Meredith was not dying; so I found it to be a little ridiculous.

Cristina and Owen

Wow, this couple have had quite a season. It began with Cristina working miles away at her new fellowship position at the Mayo clinic in Minnesota. She then returns after losing yet another mentor, Dr Thomas. His death told her that she needed Owen and her people and so back to Seattle she came. Owen filed for divorce partly due to the conflict of interest with the law suit and because he felt it was the right thing as he felt that they would just keep hurting each other.

Baby Issue Still Stands Between Crowen 

Cristina reveals that she wants Owen back and from then on we see Cristina really step up to be Owen’s person, which is what he asked her to be in counseling last season. However there is a case of two parents who are critically injured who have a ten year old boy, and it’s looking like this kid is about to become an orphan. Owen starts getting ideas about adopting the kid. It brings the baby dilemma into the lime light again and they realise they have to face this difference in needs and wants. Owen says he wants Cristina, but does not sound convincing. In the season finale Cristina walks away and Owen does not follow, therefore leaving fans wondering what will happen to them. More than two seasons of baby drama and it’s still unresolved. I have no comment here, except that I loved these characters this season and I love Cristina no matter what she does.

Arizona and Callie

Well this couple’s story threw everyone for a loop. No-one ever expected Arizona to cheat on Callie, at least until skanky Lauren showed up. And even when it happened in the penultimate episode, I still could not believe it. In the season finale, I totally got it and I am still trying to wrap my head around this. Bottom line is Arizona was in pain, emotional and mental pain, but she dealt with it in a very stupid and cruel way. I don’t believe she deliberately took revenge on her wife, like some are saying. But she made a terrible mistake acting on impulse like that. She and Callie need to go to marriage counseling for some serious therapy and finally deal with the ‘leg.’ Arizona is still blaming Callie for cutting off her leg, because they never dealt with it. What will happen here I wonder? I don’t think Lauren is going away anytime soon, since she deliberately revealed Arizona’s wedding ring pinned to her scrubs. So we may see more of Lauren trying to break up Callie and Arizona. Not sure I want to see that.

Calzona's Troubles Are Just Beginning 

Alex and Jo

While I love seeing Alex in a happy place I am worried where this story is going to go. It is about time Alex found love. He has not really truly loved someone since Izzie and she was better for Alex than this intern is. Izzie may have left him when all he did was worry about her pushing herself so soon after having cancer treatments and the like, however she did come back and wanted to repair their marriage. When Alex told her to go, I understood it; but I really felt that she was the one for him. Jo Wilson is not and she worries me. The assault on her ex boyfriend is a worry, she seems to have issues and I think Alex has had enough crazy. And why are the writers shoving that storyline under the rug? Or are we going to revisit it next season?

April Jackson and Matthew

While I like April and Matthew, I prefer her with Jackson. They look good together and they are best friends in every sense of the word. Jackson is more tolerable when he has scenes with April. Matthew has already figured out the she has something going on with Jackson, so that relationship’s days’ are numbered. Then it will likely be more of the same with her and Jackson. I hope not actually, I hope they get married. Jackson is in love with April, but he just could not handle the crazy way she carried on when she thought they were pregnant. He had decided he would marry her if it were they were pregnant and that’s when Jackson realised he was in love with her and could not deal with the crazy. She just does not get it and I think he believes she is not ready for marriage. But now that she got engaged to Matthew, he is likely having second thoughts.

Miranda Bailey

What to say about Miranda Bailey? She had quite an interesting year. He subsequent melt down over the infection to her patients surprised many fans. She married her darling Ben, which was lovely; although I thought that she was going to make a run for it early on in the piece. At the end of the season when she came through for Meredith and saved her life was awesome and brought her out of her funk, however I could have slapped her when she burst into tears before telling Derek and Cristina that Meredith was okay. No self respecting doctor does that; the first thing you say to a patients family is that the patient is fine. That was the writers’ attempt at creating more drama. We know Bailey has been upset, we know she would have felt overwhelmed operating on Meredith. We are not stupid, we get it. I know, it‘s TV; suspend my belief before I watch, but seriously it annoyed me.

Bailey Gets Her Ben 

The Interns

I can’t really say much here as I cannot make up my minds about them. I do like Heather and Leah. I just heard recently that they have all been offered regular contracts, so this tells me they are here to stay. The show needs them. Meredith, Cristina and the gang have to have someone to teach. That’s the whole point of the show. But does this mean that they will become the next Meredith, Alex, Cristina, Izzie and George. Are they grooming these guys so that the show can go on without the main stars? Grey’s Anatomy would not last past five episodes if there was no Derek, Meredith or Cristina. Anyway I don’t think that’s what they are doing. In any case I would love to see more of Heather and Leah, so bring it on. The others I don’t really care for.

Richard Webber

I’ve saved the best for last. Richard had an extremely interesting year and a heart breaking one too. His wife Adele passed on, and he spent months feeling guilty that he was not there. He stopped seeing Katherine Avery and she got concerned. Meredith dragged him back into an OR in the hope he would start to snap out of his funk. He was supportive of everyone this season, like a father figure is how it felt to me. So I really hope he is not dead, Bailey will be devastated and I don’t want to see that. Meredith will be devastated and I definitely don’t want to see her lose another part of her family and let’s face it Richard might as well be her father.

So that’s my wrap on the characters and their stories this season. As far as rating this season, I would go as far as saying that is was better than Season Seven or Eight and I thought Season Eight was pretty good. I’ve never been one to compare, but Season 7 was ruined with the Callie, Arizona, Mark baby story. Season 8 was fabulous, until the plane crash happened. Season 9 was really awesome, except for the law suit/hospital purchase. And as far as the Season of Romance, I felt that Shonda did give us the romance promised.
